Ray & Ann Smith Win Bob Sandlin

I have always thought that consistency would pay off. I keep referring to Ray and Ann Smith as Mr. and Mrs. Consistency. And on Bob Sandlin they came to the scales with a total weight of 14.20 lbs to take first place in our next to last qualifying for the classic. By doing so they moved within a point of Rick and Linda Milam for our Anglers of the Year.

In second place Mike and Cindy Strong took 2nd with a weight of 10.83 lbs. In their stringer they had big bass of the tournament 4.54 lbs.

Third place went to Randall and Julie May with a total weight of 10.30 lbs. I have to give honorable mentions to the next to couples since if Ray and Ann hadn’t run off with the tournament this one would have really been tight. In fourth place and also collecting our Ranger award money Jimmy and Neely Oglesby had 10.29 lbs and 5th went to Doug and Bettie Taylor with 9.98 lbs. Great job Ray and Ann and to all of you. After the dust had settle we all sat down and enjoyed a meal and some

quality fellowship. I would like to thank each of you who participated in the ARTEX Region you for your support.
