Lake O Pines With 21+ Bag
A cool morning greeted our couples as they left the bank to fish our second tournament in the ArTex Division. With expectations high of possible 30 lb stringers, some of our anglers knew exactly what it took to deal with a passing cold front. After the scales settled down from the stringers being brought in the final results were; In first place Rick and Linda Milam, who had a total weight of 21.20 lbs. No brides maid this time for Rick and Linda, they also took the Big Bass of the tournament honors. Congratulations. In second place and always a force to be reckon with Randall and Julie May who had a total weight of 19.96 lbs.
And in third place and new to the ArkTex Region was David and Sarah Rhyne. They also had a very impressive weight of 19.21 lbs. We are glad that they joined us and from their first tournament they appear to be a formidable father and daughter team. Marty and Jill Suggs collected the Ranger Boat award again this month. Congratulation to them.
Next Tournament Information
Next month we will hold 2 tournaments back to back so we can make up for Palestine which was cancelled in February. May 7th we wil be on Lake Palestine ( Lake Village Marina) and the following week May 14th we will be on Lake Wright Patman( Ramp One) -- Piney Point.
