Mike & Cindy Strong Take Palestine
They say behind every man is a good woman. They keep us organized and straight. I witnessed this first hand since my lovely bride was unable to attend our tournament trying to furthering her education and obtain her degree. I showed up with No trophies, No camera, No great pictures. But thanks to Linda Milam and Neely Oglesby. They came to my rescue helping me log the weights and by taking the pictures of our couples. Linda Milam even had to guide me to the restaurant on Saturday night to eat. She said I looked lost, and boy was she right. But Sunday morning came and we went on to the business at hand. It appeared that School was held on Sunday just as well. Mike and Cindy Strong held class on the art of top water fishing on Palestine. The sack they brought to the scales contained 2 over 6lbs. The biggest one weighing 6.69 lbs. Add that one to the rest of the bag and you get 18.72 lbs stringer. Needless to say this took 1st place as well. Not to be out done Rick and Linda Milam came in second with a stringer weighing 14.72 lbs. Rick had one over 5 lbs himself. I myself manage to find my way out on the water to catch 4 keepers weighing 10.33 lbs. to take third. Yeah me. With school soon out and no more test to take maybe Jackie will be back and keep me in line.
