Sun and wind greeted the couples that came out for the first tournament of the Arktex Region of CAST. Now that the snow and freezing rain was gone and some help form mother nature, the fish were biting and bedding.We have several new couples fishing with us this year and we thank you for choosing the our organization and hope you all have a successful year.
Newcomers to the Arktex Region Doug and Bettie Taylor came to the scales and took home top honors with a sack of fish totaling 15.36 lbs. A very close Second place went to the fising savy couple from Pattonville Marty and Jill Suggs with 15.14 and they took home big bass honors with a 5.04. Marty and Jill decided while they were there they would take home the Ranger Boat award money. Not a bad day. Third place went to Rick and Linda Milam with a total weight of 14.75.
