WIN on Lake Limestone!!!

Chris and Kendall May took first place in the third tournament of the Central Region on Lake Limestone Saturday, April 5, 2008. The father daughter team weighed in three fish for a total weight of 14.49 pounds. Most of the fish were caught after 10:00 am on a watermelon candy creature bait. Chris and Kendall's biggest bass weighed 6.29 pounds caught on a watermelon fluke. Their stringer contained three good fish but it was a tough bite for the May team.

Charles and Barbara Reagan finished second on Limestone with a five fish limit weighing 12.18 pounds. This couple was able to cull twice on the way to their best five fish. Most of the fish were caught on chartreuse and white spinnerbaits. The largest bass was caught on a beaver creature bait on a bed in shallow water.

Justin Prisock took third with a five fish limit weighing 11.95 pounds. Justin was able to get a morning bite on a crankbait fishing rocks, but by midday, he went to the backs of the creeks and found a more consistent patter with a chartreuse spinnerbait on underwater stumps.

Richard and Terri Cusick won the Big Bass Award of the day with a nice fish that weighed 6.78 pounds. Way to go Team Cusick!! Thanks for all your help with the tournament as well.
