Brian & Annette Wendeborn WIN on Lake Waco!!!

For the second time in 2008 Brian & Annette captured a victory during a CAST Central Region tournament.  This time their win came on Lake Waco.  Brian & Annette brought a five fish limit of 13.97 lbs. to the scales.  Each of their fish contributed to an excellent 3 pound average, keeping them just out of reach of the rest of the Central Region couples.  Brian & Annette were able to catch their limit early in the day on Trouble Maker topwater lures.  A pattern that would stay consistant most of the day helping assure them of First Place! 

Way to go Brian and Annette.!

Justin and Jenn Prisock would take second place for their second top five finish this season.  Their five fish limit of 12.96 lbs was just one pound short of catching Brian & Annette.  Justin and Jenn also found a consistant bite culling several times on the way to claiming second place.

Charles & Linda Jeske ended the tournament in third place with an impressive weight of 12.06 lbs.  Charles & Linda were also able to catch a limit of Lake Waco bass.  Fishing shallow water brush with Texas rig and Carolina rig Chartreuse and pepper French Fries.  Charles would also land big bass of the tournament with a nice 4.64 lb. bass, netting him and Linda the big bass side pot.

 

We would like to extend a special thanks to Jeff Hunter Toyota for matching the Big Bass money at this and all remaining CAST Central Region tournaments in 2008.  Also we would like to thank Tom Giebe, truck manager, of Jeff Hunter Toyota for helping us at the weigh in and for bringing a nice Toyota Tent to use at the weigh in as well. 

We look forward to seeing everyone at Lake Limestone on June 14th.  We will be launching at the Brazos River Authority West Ramp.
