2009 CAST Classic
Many times in our lives we feel the touch of someone or something guiding us along our path. Most times this feeling comes when we need it the most. The sense of peace and hope can be tremendously uplifting giving us the ability to move forward even when we don’t feel we can.
2008 Classic Tournament
Almost all of us have wanted to live on the lake at one time or another. Joe & Susie Moss did just that for eight days leading up to the 2008 CAST Classic Championship Tournament on Lake Amistad, October 4th & 5th, 2008 in Del Rio, Texas. Renting a houseboat from Diablo East Marina allowed Joe & Susie unlimited access to fishing areas all over Lake Amistad. Not only does this sound relaxing but also the best prefishing strategy any angler would want.
2007 Classic Tournament
In one of the most emotionally exciting tournaments in CAST history, the local boy and girl live the fairy tale ending. Ronnie and Courtney Mundy from Broaddus, Texas took home the title of 2007 CAST Classic Champions! Not only did they win the tournament but they brought the largest bass of the event to the weigh-in at the last minute to claim the victory! Their total weight of 30.01 lbs. was anchored by a monsterous bass weighing 10.07 lbs.
2006 Classic Tournament
Consistency is what paid off for our winners
Larry & Mary Jim Woods
with a total winning weight of 25.60 lbs. This tournament was fished on two of the most unalike days that one could imagine. Sunny Skies and Stormy Downpours
2005 Classic Tournament
Johnny & Jolyne George set a recording breaking weight in winning the CAST Classic tournament on Lake Sam Rayburn. In fact all kinds of record catches were broken. 10th place took more weight than the winning weight last time we fished Sam Rayburn.
