MARK AND MICHELE EDER!

NEW METROPLEX COUPLE TAKE AOY LEAD!

CAST Metroplex had another good turn out for our third tournament of the season. Despite thunderstorms trying to blow in, we had a good day on the lake. Thank goodness all the storms moved north of Lake Amon Carter.

Our fist place winners are Mark & Michele Eder with a good stringer of 16.49 and they also had Big Bass for the day with an excellent bass weighing 8.73 pounds! Their fish were all caught on blue fleck worms. Mark & Michele were pitching to tree stumps to catch their fish.

Our second place winners were Quincy & Carolyn Brown. Their stringer weighed 12.20 pounds, anchored by a real nice bass that weighed 7.23 pounds. Great Job Carolyn!!! Quincy was the net man today!

Third place was another new couple to the CAST Metroplex Region. Jimmy Heath & Sonya Golden had a good sack that weighed 11.83 pounds. They also weighed in a nice bass weighing 4.60 pounds. Good Job, Jimmy & Sonya!

Every team at this tournament weighed in fish. The competition for positions on the Metroplex Region’s TOP SIX Invitational Team is going to be close! Every tournament will be important for us all. Here are the TOP SIX after the Amon Carter tournament:

Our next tournament will be at Lake Whitney, Saturday, May 23, 2009. Due to the lake having low levels, we will need to change the boat ramp. We will be putting in at Cedar Creek Boat Ramp. Registration will be in the morning at the ramp from 5:00 am - 6:00 am. We need to get everyone launched and in the water as quick as possible to take advantage of the early top water bites.
