Take WIN at Lake Bridgeport

CAST Metroplex held their sixth tournament of the season on Lake Bridgeport, Father’s Day weekend. We hope you all had a great weekend!! Hopefully the ladies let all the “fathers” rest on Sunday to make up for their hard day of fishing on Saturday!

First we would like to say GREAT JOB to all of our couples, because everyone, caught a 5 fish limit at this tournament! That is awesome! Bridgeport is a slot limit lake causing couples to release bass they would normally keep for weigh-in. Congrats on staying with the bite and catching the good stringers!

Our 1st Place winners are Chris & Rebecca Wright with a total weight of 8.56 pounds. Chris & Rebecca also had the Big Bass for the day weighing in at 4.73 pounds. Great job!!!!

Kevin & Julie Seibold came in with a stringer weighing at 7.40 pounds to capture 2nd Place. Their Big Bass weighed 3.27 pounds. We also want to say welcome back to Julie. Kevin & Julie are proud parents with the birth of their first little baby boy, “Fisher.” Congrats and we can not wait to see Fisher at the CAST Classic in October.

Filling out the top three positions, John Staley & Page Cundiff finished in 3rd Place. Their total weight for the tournament was 7.32 pounds. They had a nice bass weighing 3.27 pounds.

Our next tournament will be at Eagle Mountain Lake on Saturday, July 18, 2009. Bobby Clark will contact the Fort Worth Angler’s Club about using their launch ramp and facility for our tournament. We will inform everyone as soon as we have confirmation from Bobby.
