WIN Eagle Mountain
Our last tournament of the Year was held on Eagle Mountain Lake. The good Lord blessed us with a beautiful day to fish! Despite three other tournaments that were being held on the lake, and all the rain that has closed many of the lakes, our Couples managed to catch some really nice fish! There were also a lot of Spotted Bass weighed in.
Congratulations to Quincy and Carolyn Brown for catching the biggest Bag of fish and also Big Bass of the tournament! I do believe that Carolyn caught all the fish! Their three fished weighed in at 7.90 lbs. and Big Bass was 4.12 lbs. Quincy and Carolyn were also our Ranger Cup Winners for the tournament.
Second place was a New Couple to CAST this year, James Slocum and Shandon Ranallo. James and Shandon had three fish that weighed 7.52 lbs. Great job James and Shandon! It was a very close finish.
Third place and New Metroplex Anglers of the Year were Brian and Kim Harris. Brian and Kim’s fish weighed in at 5.70. Fantastic Job, and Congratulations on winning the Anglers of the Year title.
I am so sorry that I forgot the plaques for the winners and will get them to you as soon as I can.
Kelly and I want to Thank Everyone that fished with us this year. We apologize for the mistakes that we made our first year as directors. (Like forgetting plaques for the winners in two different tournaments.)
We appreciate all the compliments and suggestions that were made by you the Couples of CAST. We do hope that you will all return next year to fish with us and bring another couple with you to fish with us.

Big Bass of the Year goes to Chris and Rebecca Wright with a 6.54 lbs bass from lake Bridgeport.
