Win Lake Lewisville in Freezing Weather

The first event this year was held on Lake Lewisville for the CAST Metroplex. Despite the very cold temperature (27 degrees) and miserable winds (20-25 miles per hour), we had an excellent turn out for the tournament. We appreciate all of you that were able to come that day. I apologize for the weather, but we were all safe and we finally defrosted.

Finishing first place was Stephen & Shana Harris with 12.51lbs and they also took home Big Bass of 4.33lbs. This was an excellent stringer with the conditions we were given.

Second Place was Jeff Brandon & Susan Warren with 8.34lbs. This couple was also the top Ranger owner that will get the bonus back from Ranger Boats. Way to Go!!

Coming in at Third Place was Joe Staley with 3.98lbs. We did not ask what he caught his fish on because it is always a Black Buzz Bait. I’m sure it was a little cold for a buzz bait this time! Ha! Ha!

John & I are very proud of each and everyone of you. We are thankful that all of you showed up at this tournament although it was MISERABLE! We are glad you were all safe and made it back to weigh-in without any trouble.

Next Tournament Information

Lake Change

Our next tournament has been moved due to the dead fish in Lake Granbury. We will go to Bridgeport on March 18 at Wise County Park. There will be fish in that lake to catch. Registration will be at 5:00am until 6:30am. We would like everyone to be on the water and ready to go by safe light. If anyone has questions, please do not hesitate to call 817.219.2556.
