TAKE FIRST AT LAKE WHITNEY

Cast Metroplex held our fourth tournament at Whitney. Again, we had another great day for fishing. The weather was great and the wind did corporate with us. I think that we are into the hot season for fishing.

Despite the low water conditions, we still had a great number of fish weighed in. You all did a great job.

Taking 1st Place once again, was the dynamic team of Shane & Rebecca Timm, with a total weight of 17.10 pounds. Shane & Rebecca always seem to be where the fish are and caught their stringer of bass on the lower end of the lake. Way to go!

The 2nd Place couple are our friends who returned to fish with us this year. We are glad they are here and were able to come back. Adrian & Susie Adair had a total weight of 16.10 pounds plus they also had Big Bass for the Whitney tournament weighing 5.17 pounds. Congratulations to Adrian & Susie!

Holding down the 3rd Place position was Steve & Debbie Amburn with 15.67 pounds. Steve & Debbie worked on their fish using crankbaits in the mid lake area. The Amburn’s are always consistent tournament anglers. Good Job guys!

The CAST Metroplex top six couples have been very close at every tournament. We are not sure how the standings are going to turn out, but we have some great competition going on. This is not going to be an easy runaway for positions on the 2009 CAST Metroplex TOP SIX Invitational team. Good Luck to everyone and may the fish keep biting!

CAST Metroplex Region's next tournament will be at Lake Bridgeport on Saturday, June 20, 2009. Registration will be at the ramp at Wise County Park starting at 5:00 am. Please be on the water and ready to go by safelight. We want to thank ALL of you for your help so far this year.
