Hodges are HOT on Bridgeport!!!

The North Region held our 4th tournament on Lake Bridgeport, June 14, 2009, not only was the weather hot, but Bobby & Tammy Hodges were hot also. They finished in 1st Place with a winning weight of 10.45 pounds; fishing spinnerbaits and blue fleck worms. Bobby & Tammy were our first place winners last month on Amon Carter and they are once again winners of Skeeter Real Money. Skeeter owners and CAST are doing very well this season. Thanks Skeeter! Congratulations once again to Bobby & Tammy!

Second place and Big Bass were taken home by Mike & Chelsea Vasquez. They are a new couple to the CAST North Region. Mike & Chelsea brought a nice sack of fish to the scale weighing 10.10 pounds. Chelsea was so excited because she caught the big one! This bass was her personal best of 5.65 pounds. Chelsea said she caught this nice fish on a carolina-rig. Great job and we’re glad you are a part of CAST North this year.

Don & Dixie Rodgers threw a variety of baits to earn the 3rd Place position with a weight of 9.95 pounds. Don & Dixie are having a great year and are currently one of our Top Six Teams in the North Region.

Congratulations go out to two of our new couples this year; Heath & Candice Moody were married last month; we wish you both many years of happiness. Donnie & Krista Warren are expecting their first child in January; we know too well what a blessing that will be for the two of you. Congratulations!

We ask everyone to keep Garry Darby in your prayers as he undergoes knee replacement surgery this week. He has waited a long time for this. We are sure he will be up and running in no time. We wish you a speedy recovery Garry.

Our next tournament will be on July 12th at Lake Texoma. Registration will be held on Saturday at Holiday on Texoma from 5-6pm.

Sunday registration, launch, and weigh-in will be held at Highpoint Marina. We will be available for registration starting at 4:00 am.

If anything should change due to the current lake level at Texoma, we will update our current website information before the end of June.
