Team Delaney has Ray Roberts down "Pat"!!!
CAST/North Region's 2nd tournament of the year was at a 7ft. low Ray Roberts Reservoir. Several teams were in no hurry to get started Sunday because of the cold weather, but it turned out to be a beautiful day. Five fish in the 8 to 9lb range were caught but were unable to be weighed in because they were under the slot.
Pat & Patty Delaney brought 5 fish to the scales to take 1st place (4 out of their 5 fish were spotted bass). Pat & Patty fished rocky banks with soft plastics on the west side of the lake. They had their five fish limit by 8:00 a.m. and culled four times.
David & Tammy Waller fished light jigs around marinas and the Jordan Park area to catch their five fish limit allowing them to take 2nd place. David and Tammy also took home an extra check as a result of being the highest placing Ranger Boat owners and standing members of Ranger Cup.
A new couple to our group, Mark and Jaci Biondi, also brought five fish to the scales; bringing their stringer solidly in as the 3rd place winner. Mark and Jaci also fished small plastics to catch their limit.

Congratulations to David & Tammy Waller for being our Ranger Cup winners as well as winners of our Kistler rods sponsored by Kistler Custom Rods of Magnolia, Texas. Rod and Rosanne Simpson were also winners of a Kistler custom rod.
CAST North would also like to thank the fine folks at Academy Sports + Outdoors for their donation of gift cards given away at our Saturday registration.
The North Region’s next tournament will be May 6th on Lake Texoma. Saturday registration will be at the Tackle Box located at Hwy 120, Pottsboro, TX from 3-5 pm. Sunday launch and registration will be at High Port Marina.
