Pat & Mary Ann Marino WIN at Ray Roberts!!!

CAST North Region finished their regular season tournament season on Lake Ray Roberts. This awesome north Texas slot lake is a regular stop for the couples of CAST North. While the weigh-in is usually comprised of small one pound fish; the catching is usually made up of five to nine pound "slot" fish. Your weigh-in bag may be light at the end of the day but your arms and thumb may be quite sore from all the big fish you can catch.

Such was the case on the final stop of the year. Also at stake was the battle to determine the Top Six couples to represent the North Region at the 2008 CAST TOP SIX Invitational Tournament on September 20, 2008.

Pat & Mary Ann Marino took home First Place money with just 6.60 lbs. Lots of nice slot fish were caught including several 22-23 inch fish but no one was able to bring one in over 24 inches.

Finishing in Second Place were Gino Napoli & Stephanie McCarley. They also were able to bring in a bag of small "under-slot" fish.

Rounding out the top three spots were Lonnie & Kim McGuffey taking Third Place. Kim has done an excellent job fishing in the ESPN Women's Bassmasters Tournaments in 2008 sponsored by Academy Sports + Outdoors.

The top six was still up for grabs but after all was said and done everything would remain the same as last month.
