DONNIE AND JUANITA ROBINSON POWER THEIR SKEETER / YAMAHA BOAT
THRU MUDDY WATER TO WIN ON LAKE CONROE!!!










March 6th, 2010 C.A.S.T. Southeast Region's second regional










tournament of the season. C.A.S.T. Southeast couples were










greeted with very cool temperatures, winds 10-20 mph, partial










overcast turning to blue bird skies late. There were 44 couples who










Donnie & Juanita Robinson of Highlands, Texas came to the scales










with the only five fish stringer weighing in at 16.44 pounds. Donnie










& Juanita Robinson used their Skeeter Boat/Yamaha Outboard to get them to various off colored/muddy water on the north end of the lake. Donnie & Juanita even went north of the 1375 bridge to help fill out a limit. This team used one-ounce Spinnerbaits with big Indiana blades to fill their limit. Donnie & Juanita also won the Skeeter Ream Money Bonus for being registered Skeeter/Yamaha owners and the PAA Payday Program Bonus for being a registered member. Congratulations to this team on their WIN!!
Second place went to C.A.S.T. Southeast team members Wesley
& Chrissy Johnson of Montgomery, Texas. Wesley & Chrissy
brought in three healthy bass weighing 15.01 pounds. This couple
was able to put a bed fish pattern together and fished the mid-
lake area. Wesley & Chrissy utilized brush hogs in black/blue
colors to coax their fish to bite. Chrissy said, "Wesley needs a
little more practice on netting her fish!" Congratulation to this
couple on their second place finish!
Third place honors go to long time C.A.S.T. members Larry & Carol McMinimy of Lufkin, Texas. Larry & Carol brought in a three fish stringer weighing 10.58 pounds. Larry & Carol targeted shallow water pockets in 1-2 ft. of water fishing senkos and baby brush hogs in watermelon red colors. They also fished white spinnerbaits to help with their catch. A job well done goes to the McMinimy's on their third place finish.
E2 Baits Big Bass Award went to the third place team of Wesley & Chrissy Johnson. Their healthy female bass weighed 7.97 pounds! A beautiful fish! Congratulations to Wesley & Chrissy on their BIG BASS catch!!!

NEXT TOURNAMENT INFORMATION:
Our next tournament will be on Lake Livingston from Kickapoo Bait and Tackle on
April 17th. Registration will be at the tourna-ment site that morning. Registration
will be between 5:30 am and 6:30 am; while start time will be determined the morning
