BOB AND GINGER METZ TAKE THE WIN
ON “OLD” HOME LAKE…

Though they are no longer living on Lake Livingston, Bob and Ginger Metz did what it took to pull off a WIN!

Bob and Ginger went about 40 minutes up north to their old stompin’ grounds, Bethy Creek, to catch their limit of fish.  They said they even fished in front of their old house.  This determination is what it took to catch a five fish limit for the win.  Bob and Ginger’s stringer had a total weight of 9.87 pounds.  This couple fishes with C.A.S.T. all the time and we congratulate them on their win.

The second place winning stringer was brought in by David Price.  Even though David’s best fishing partner was not able to join him he held his own; finishing second with a four fish stringer that weighed 9.26 pounds.  David was able to hold his own by throwing spinnerbaits all day near Kickapoo creek.  He said he was on some good fish the week before, but with the lake falling the fish had pulled out to the deeper edges.

We all need to watch out for this next couple.  Russell Glenwinkel and Christi Glaze always seem to come to the weigh-in with a SMILE and a SACK OF FISH.  Russell and Christi went about five minutes from the boat ramp and brought in five fish that weighed 8.56 pounds.  Russell said that most of their fish was caught on spinnerbaits and baby brushhogs.  Good job to a great team.

John and Jennifer Anderson came in with the big bass of the tournament with a 4.42 pounder.  This was a prized precious fish because it did not have any scarring from being battered by the net.  Good job Jennifer on netting this fish.

Good job from the team of Mark and Morna Lane for being Ranger boat owners and winning the Ranger Cup Bonus Money.

Congratulations to all our lady team members.  It seems that the majority of the ladies caught most of the fish today and even some of the male counterparts came in empty handed.  YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE!!

As of this Livingston tournament our official top six standings are as follows:

1.W.C. and Anna Polster
2.Russell Glenwinkel and Christi Glaze
3.Robert and Linda Cobb
4.Larry and Carol McMinimy

Congratulations to these top six teams for all their hard work and with one tournament to go it is getting interesting.
