W.C. & ANNA POLSTER
DOMINATE TOLEDO BEND

It was fifteen minutes into the competition when W.C. and Anna Polster landed the fish that will be talked about by everyone for the rest of the season.  This “HAWG” will be hard to top boasting a weight of 10.46 pounds to claim BIG BASS winner for the tournament.
Tournament director Jennifer Anderson while fishing during the day made the comment that she would love to see a 20+ pound stringer brought in from this lake that is notorious for giving up big fish.  She got her wish when W.C. and Anna Polster claimed first place overall with a winning weight of 20.27 pounds.  W.C. and Anna Polster bested the tournament field by a more than a six pound margin.
Coming in second place and winning the RANGER Bonus money was the great fishing duo of Larry and Joyce Coleman.  Larry and Joyce took their Ranger boat and caught a 5 fish limit weighing 14.69 pounds.  Larry will be competing in the STREN Series Tournament at Lake Texoma next week and C.A.S.T Southeast wishes him great success.
Taking third place with a five fish limit and a weight of 11.22 pounds was Ronnie and Courtney Mundy.  Courtney said she caught six fish within the first 20 minutes. Way to go Courtney!  Joining in their celebration was Ronnie’s parents and the future angler of America, Cody Mundy.
C.A.S.T. would like to welcome new members Nick and Sharon Albus and hope they join us for many more tournaments to come.  C.A.S.T. would also like to congratulate Donnie Parker and the future Ruby Parker on their Sam Rayburn waterfront engagement.  Jennifer and I would like to say welcome and thanks to all the families and members for their support during the weigh in. Everyone’s energy and enthusiasm is what drives us and will help continue to make C.A.S.T. Southeast grow.
C.A.S.T. is glad to see that Sandy Jeane is recovering from her foot surgery.  She fished with her feet bandaged up at our tournament as well as the BFL tournament.  She is a trooper.  We would also like to wish Roy Rowell in his recovery from a broken leg.  He came to the tournament with a broken leg, on crutches, and still managed to get his boat in the water to fish.  Roy said, “I just did not want to miss the tournament.”
We had a great weigh-in and want to thank the owners of Alpine Marina for allowing us to have our tournament at their site.  They opened the store at 4:30AM allowing us to use their facility to conduct our registration.  If anyone is looking for great lodging on Toledo Bend please check out Alpine Marina.
Special thanks to Larry and Carol McMinimy for helping us at the tournament with picture taking and Jason Bass for helping me with the banners.
Our next tournament will be on Lake Livingston May 19th, out of Lakeview Marina this is the same boat ramp we used for our March tournament.  If you have any questions please feel free to call us at 832-514-0449 or email us at johnandjen2@msn.com.
C.A.S.T.
